The machine is quite sturdy and has stood up to the treatment that only young children can mete out. Advantages: Swift, friendly and efficient service Disadvantages: NONE
...at 2.00pm the next day, by 5.00pm the same day i had been contacted by a local engineer who arranged to come the NEXT morning. He arrived just as promised and mended the TV, it was simply a loose connection which had occured during transit.

I can offer nothing but praise on Hitachi and their excellent service team.
The TV is also very good, and i have heard very good comments made about Hitachi products from many of my friends...

E bay are currently selling this model, but they are not labeled "Buy Now", so you would have to bid in order to get one. You might get lucky and gain a bargain.
