Advantages: Fast, Sata, Quite Cheap, Reliable Disadvantages: Have to use Hitachi Software to Enable Sata II
...I was looking for something fast with a lot of storage for my new gaming PC that most of all I could rely on; I chose this drive because Hitachi is a big brand and one that has a good reputation for reliability. I managed to pick up this drive for £44 inc. VAT which is a complete steal for a Hitachi drive.
If you buy the retail version you will get a 130 page instruction manual with every little detail about the drive in it as well as all the screws, cables etc but to be honest your much better off buying a OEM version which is identical but doesn't have all the nice packaging and screws etc so you end up saving about £15 or more.
The installation is as easy as any other hard drive, just plug in the power and S-ata cables and your away. The only downside with this is to enable s-ata II which gives you a much faster transfer speed...

Advantages: SATA so fast, smaller cables, easy to install Disadvantages: Can be loud when reading/writing
...but nothing extreme. Installation was easy and the new cabling system used by SATA is much better for system air flow.
PLEASE NOTE I have selected totally unhelpful for instruction manual and manufacturer support as respectively there isn't one and i haven't used it. in addition it is hard for me to judge its reliabilty however it does come with a 3 year guarantee...
