I was offered this hitachi tv when my first choice was out of stock, being the same style (at a very lower price) i took up the offer and so far am very happy i did,
the tv is more at the budget end of the market but thats not always a bad thing,
i've owned it now a little over 4 month and so far have been very pleased with the product,
from removing the tv from the box it was very easy to set up the stand was already attached to the tv so didn't have to mess with screws ect, the power cord is a simple kettle/pc sort the scart leads/ariel connections are well placed and easy to connect, as with most modern tv's the channel set up process is automatic and will tune sort and store all tv stations sky VCR and dvd players that are plugged in and powered on,
i have the tv on a stand but the brackets were in the box to have it wall mounted,
the picture and sound quality is very good, there is a lot of options for sound (so many i still havent been through them all to date) and a built in sub woffer,
the one problem i've had with this tv is when i had it un plugged for a day the channels were lost and did not give me the auto tune option like the first time and the tuning menu was hard to find and workout
