Whoa this Plasma TV is massive. Boasting a 50inch screen & HD ready. Just got this beast today from Comets at there web price for £989.00. You get 1 years warranty. Optional warranty is must on a Plasma. I got an extra 2 years for any type of damage or problems that may occur. It even has a built in power swivel pedestal. This means you get the remote and it will turn the viewing angel on the screen. So no getting up to move the screen to the left or right when you sitting there watching a moive or using your games console.
This plasma comes with a range of features 3 scart terminals, 2 HDMI terminals one on the back and one on the front. An SD card slot, opitcal audion out installed. Motorised power swivel. Has built in Digital Terrestrial TV (Freeview channels). Has power saving options for those people who are engery efficient. You can even view your digital photos from a USB port which is based on the front, so you can connect your digital camera or your USB memory card reader. A headphone jack point. A user friendly menu system. First time installation setup system. High quality sound with various options to which sound output you want. Lovely high defintion picture with various picture options. The colours are rich, intense, and a pleasure to watch. You can even change the screen size layout to Panoramic, 14:9, full, 4:3 & panoramic.
I must admit i have already given my PS2 to a bash on this. Its like being in an arcade with the screen so big and the bass coming out of the speakers. Its like i\'ll never go back to using a CRT TV ever again. I\'ve been converted to the realm of plasma TV's.
I must say one thing though. Hitachi are really the only company that has pioneered the motorised swivel and seem to be able to carry it off so well in there range of TV\'s. I wonder if Sony or Samsung will try there hands that this technology.
