HItachi Customer Services

Advantages: Definately none
Disadvantages: No reimbursement

We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389. Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds. Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously. The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks. Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi. We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!! So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept ...

The Blue Mountains

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: nothing

This next review is on my time on The Blue Mountains National Park, located in Sydney Australia. A few friends and I had decided to hire a van and take a tour of the national park, as we had been recommended it by several people we had met along the way. It?s a great experience, which allows you to camp overnight, whilst also have a magnificent driving experience. History & Park Info: The park covers 267,954 hectares, which included several mountains and rivers along the trek. The highest point of the park is Mount Werong (1,215 m), and there are some breathtaking views from the top. The area became a national park in 1932, and ever since ...

Out of the Blue

Advantages: Striking, affecting combinations of music and visuals, strong central performance.
Disadvantages: Perhaps a little too blue.

"Now I have only one thing left to do: nothing. I don't want any belongings, any memories. No friends, no love. Those are all traps." This is the resolution of Julie Vignon (Juliette Binoche), the central character of Three Colours: Blue. The survivor of a car crash which took the lives of her husband Patrice, a celebrated composer, and her young daughter, she desires nothing but to withdraw from life, cutting all ties and bonds that formerly surrounded her. The creation of a Franco-Polish collaboration, and the last project of acclaimed director Krzysztof Kieslowski, the Three Colours trilogy (Blue being the first, White the second and Red the third) takes as its focus the three foundations of the French state; Liberté, égalité et fraternité. Reflecting also the French tricolore, Blue deals with an interpretation of Liberty ...
