When choosing your next television, you are best spending some time looking at the stand that it will be placed. Some of the stands look very nice, but, if the person removing video tapes from a vcr, or a DVD from a similar device, on one of the shelves and nudges or pulls the device then the shelf can easily dislodge , so it could fall and smash or fall in the middle of the night making a loud noise which to anybody upstairs in bed makes them think ... more

Some of the stands look very nice, but, if the person removing video tapes from a vcr, or a DVD from a similar device, on one of the shelves and nudges or pulls the device then the shelf can easily dislodge , so it could fall and smash or fall in the middle of the night making a loud noise which to anybody upstairs in bed makes them think that they are being burgled , and petrifies them. Although the shelves look good, you must consider that the equipment that is going to be placed on them is usually very expensive. I would always choose one of a more stable nature.
