I like the TV, it has all the features I was looking for and at a price I could afford. I don't recommend this TV for anything other than basic operation. I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who faces the same situation.

I've had the Hitach P50XR01U for a little over 2 weeks now and not being an expert, find the picture quality to my liking with plenty of adjustment to play with. The audio is not quite to my liking, being their latest 50" plasma TV I would have expected the quality of the audio to be much better. The main reason I bought this TV was because of the vast number of input/outputs on board. I've operated a karaoke business for 20 years now and often have karaoke parties at my house. I was horrified when I connected my JVC karaoke player and my KAM1920 radio mic set to the TV, using the inbuilt TV amplifier and internal speakers, there is a definate delay in the audio from the microphones being delivered at the TV speakers making it un-useable, I tried all the other inputs but just the same. Full of dissapointment I approached the retailer who tried my karaoke equipment on another 2 TV's in the shop and both were the same. The problem has both of us baffled. A matsui portable DVD player played through the inputs highlights the delay and again isn't useable. All in all, unless Hitachi (who won't talk to me) are a little more forthcoming with a solution.
