...chrome and black base and the 3 tiers of clear plastice (I think all of them are), The steamer fits in well with my other gadgets especially as I have stainless everywhere and this was one of the deciding factors when buying this (I don't think we would have brought it even at this bargain price if it was white). We bought this after searching the web for steamers on offer. Currys had this one for £19.98 "half price". Interesting that Dixons, also a DSG company were selling the same item for £39.99 - October 2007. The stainless steel base was what sold the item after the price and when we unpacked the steamer, all was well. However, the arrangement of the bowls is not what we expected. ...not completely fit inside each other and the stacked height for storage is much higher than 1 bowl. To use three bowls of the same size means that 2 of the bowls require adaptor rings to be fixed to the bottom - this allows them to fit onto the bowl underneath.
