From the minute Arthur Dent crawls out of bed to see yellow things outside, to when Zaphod orders the computer to take them to the nearest place to eat and takes them to the end of time, this book has me in stiches. The Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy is the definitive guide to pointless information in the universe. When first given the book I had doubts about it's content, Sci-Fi and comedy?, but Douglas Adams has merged cynical, sarsastic humour with science fiction expertly. I can't think of a bad theme to this book except that they don't show the TV series anymore. Anyone who enjoys Red Dwarf would love this book, or anyone who like Sci-Fi and comedy. A must read!!!!
