concept, with huge improvements to the graphics, controls and, most importantly, the number of ways for you to plan your hits - from wading in guns blazing to making it all look like a simple accident. The lowdown:Although the Hitman games were always a great idea they never quite worked the way you expected, with an awkward control system and camera and far less freedom than it at first seemed. This latest sequel solves almost all these problems, starting with a standard third person camera over which you have full control. Although you can ask for hints on how to carry out a hit you've so many options the game's almost like a macabre graphic adventure - do you use the remote detonated bomb on the chandelier winch in the ballroom or plug the secretary's Coke with poison and hide in the cupboard? The new notoriety system seems a bit pointless but otherwise this gets almost everything right. Most exciting moment:The game features tons of new additions like grabbing human shields, a quick draw for your gun and the ability to hide bodies. The most fun though is the simple sounding push option, which allows you to sneak up behind someone and send them flying off a balcony by "accident".Since you ask:Blood Money includes various references to previous Hitman games, the most prominent being the Paris mission in an Opera house, which acts as a prequel to Hitman: Contracts. The bottom line:The best Hitman game yet, that makes a real effort to fix the flaws of the previous games.Harrison Dent

The Story.
At the beggining of the game we see a flashback to a Baltimore amusement park, where a ferris wheel ride collapses due to maintenance neglect, causing the death of dozens of innocent people.
We then see a man sat in a dimly lit office, looking at a picture, which we find out is the mans son, who died on that same ferris wheel. He then picks up the phone and calls the ... ...After completeing this mission, there's a cutscene including a reporter and the former FBI Director, Leland "Jack" Alexander who are talking, about cloning and the things that Agent 47 has been upto. Leland is showing the reporter recent news articles of assasinations, which brings the reporter to believe the consipiracies about the actual existance of the notorious Agent 47. And through the rest of the game, we play the missions as flashbacks to ...

Advantages: stunning graphics, exceptional gameplay, varied missions, missions have to be thought through, long lifespan Disadvantages: it contains a lot of graphic vioelence and is rated 18+
The main story of Hitman – Blood Money focuses on Agent 47, a clone designed to be the perfect assassin. A rather freakish looking character with his bald head, smart suits and arsenal of toys designed to kill. The game progresses in a series of flashbacks told via a Senator to a reporter where he outlines Agent 47’s life story and at certain points the gamer then gets to take control of those parts of the story, living the flashback.
The movies ... ...very lifelike and played through a HD television show off the true power, graphics and sound capabilities of the Xbox 360. Inter-game movies regardless of the game or console are normally better than the actual in-game graphics but in this case they are not, the stunning graphics and level of detail are carried through to the actual game platform and when taking into consideration the fluid movement of characters, everything about the graphics adds ...

Advantages: The best in the series so far, inventive, Disadvantages: not much of a graphical upgrade from the last generation version
Hitman bloodmoney for the Xbox 360 is the third game in the hitman series but the first that has been released on the 360. The game puts you back in the shoes of Agent 47, a clone designed specifically to be an assassin. The game is a series on flash backs that are narrated by an FBI agent, these narration give his account of what happened on a specific day and then you get to play it from Agent 47's perspective. these all lead up to an exciting ... ...game mechanics are pretty good with a intuitive control system that provides a good range of context sensitive commands. This combined with a variety of upgradeable and collectible weapons provides many ways of eliminating your target, of course the aim of the game is to reach your target undetected kill them and leave silently, this is facilitated by the ability to disguise yourself with any uniforms that other characters in the level are wearing. ...

Advantages: Great storyline Disadvantages: Doesn't look like a 360 game...
The game centers around an assasin known only as Agent 47. If you've played any of the Hitman series before, you'll know his story, if not: Agent 47 was a clone created from the DNA of several criminals, making the prefect assasin. The missions involve you killing your target and doing bonus tasks. Like most games you can either go in all guns blazing, or sneak around and stage an accident. The bonus tasks usually have you retrieving tapes or pictures, ... ...a game which has so many ways to do things. Completing an action involves little more than pressing a button and scrolling to the one you want. The guns in the game are realistic, and you can't carry much ammo at a time. The health system is realistic, in that you can only take a few hits before dieing. You can modify your own guns and purchase upgrades before missions, often making the mission easier. You have to pay for these with money earnt through ...

Advantages: Good graphics Disadvantages: Hard to complete
...Name of the game: Hitman: BloodMoney
Platform: Xbox (Also on Xbox360, PC, PS2)
Genre: Action
My points: 8
Comments:
After briefly playing the original Hitman: Codename 47, and its second successor, Hitman: Contracts, I would be considered new to the Hitman scene. After getting the demo on a demo disc, I decided to give it a whirl.
The first thing I noticed was how 'clean' 47 looks. It may just be that I'm used to seeing him in Codename 47, I'm not sure - but what I am sure of, is, it looks stunning!
The first level, like the demo level, is a tutorial. As you progress you get objectives on the top of the screen telling you exactly what to do next. I found this extremely helpful, not knowing what 47's abilities were, exactly.
After that quick and rather easy guide to the multiple ways to kill, you are shown a few cut scenes, which...

...'m not spoiling it.
The game had many more features that the previous games did not including;
- the ability to make the hit look accidental
-the ability to use an NPC as a human shield
-the ability to upgrade your certain weapons
-an all new "Notoriety" System making it easier for Guards to see through your disguise
-a newspaper article documenting the details in how you completed each level
-the ability to use improvised weapons e.g Hedge cutters, Nailgun
Hitman: BloodMoney is well worth taking a look at with the almost endless ways each level can be completed. The game is available on PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox360 and PC....
