First , make sure the skin area is thoroughly clean and free of oils. Talcum powder may be used to ensure an oil free surface. You can use the strips directly or it is usually best to cut them down to size.
Before applying, it is also helpful to warm the wax up with your hands. Then pulling the sheets apart, apply one sheet of wax over the desired area. Gentle apply a few strokes over the area to ensure sufficient attachment. Then using one hand to hold the skin taut, with the other hand hold onto the strip. In one swift decisive movement remove the strip against the direction of hair growth. There will be diagrams included in the instructions booklet to help you check that you are removing the strips in the correct direction.

..Wash your legs first, so there is no moisturiser or natural oils on the skin, which will prevent the wax sticking
..Warm the strip up in your hands.
..Smooth down onto the leg, rubbing firmly.
..You need to remove the strip in the OPPOSITE direction to the hair growth.
..Take the end of the strip, holding the skin underneath tightly.
Pull BACK, not up, very quickly.
Bruising is caused by pulling the strip up of the skin rather then backwards. It sounds silly, but I practiced with a bit of sellotape on the kitchen table until I was sure I was getting it right lol.
I don't usually bother using the wipes that come with the pack, as I find that baby oil is better then anything else to remove left over wax on the skin, and it's soothing. After you finish waxing its better to wear loose clothing...

Well after reading the previous review on these waxing strips (shocking!), I thought I ought to write about my experiences of Wax A Way, being a recently converted waxer!
I first tried waxing with immac waxing strips, but found they didn't grip the hair very well (bikini line)and left quite a few stranded hair screaming "remove me! Remove me!". I found this disappointing considering the price. Then I thought I'd try a cheaper version, when shopping in Bodycare and discovered Wax A Way strips. They were only about £3, so I thought I'd give them a go. I bought the ones with tea tree oil in, for reasons I'll explain later.
I got home and got to work on my bikini line. I was eager to have a smooth flawless bikini area. I found the strips more effective in removing the stubborn hair than immac, so was pleased...
