Advantages: They work! Smooth results and qutie long lasting. Disadvantages: A bit messy and uncomfortable.
...For us girlies, the quest for certain bits to become (and remain) hairless, is never-ending. I have shaved, plucked, exfoliated and deforested with the best of them! I have always avoided waxing, firstly because I have a low pain threshold and, secondly because it always seemed a bit of a hassle. It was either pay a fortune at the beauty salon, or get in a mess heating wax at home.
So, when I saw that Immac had produced some Cold Wax Strips I decided this would be my ideal chance to experiment with the waxing process.
DESCRIPTION*******************************************
A pack of Immac Cold Wax Strips contains 12 single sided wax strips and 4 sachets of moisturising wipes. They cost me around £5.00, from my local branch of Bodycare, but prices vary considerably. I have seen them for sale in Boots, Superdrug and Tescos...

Advantages: No strips, gets REALLY short hairs out, relatively cheap Disadvantages: Maybe takes a little practise to perfect method, hard to find?
...live up to its claims in removing hairs as short as 2mm!

I found it a lot easier than using strips because in the past I have found it very fiddly using them in awkward areas (underarms/bikini). As I am quite experienced in doing my own Brazilianwaxing (with Veet cold wax strips) I thought I'd give it a go with this. I was extra-specially careful with the heat of the wax. It gave a beautifully smooth finish with minimal stray hairs (only v.short ones) and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it is the best wax I have ever used for Brazilian and/or bikini line...

...should not exceed 2 minutes. What did I do? I hear you ask. I put it in the centre of the microwave and put it on for 2 minutes. If you have a re-heat option on your microwave use that not cook or defrost. Another small problem I only have a cook and a defrost setting. To late I was reading this part after I pressed the start button, so I left it. After the 2 minutes you will be tempted to open the microwave and take the tube out. Well don't, as you should leave it for 3 minutes in the microwave, to stand. I just wanted to open it and start stirring. Then take it out of the microwave and be very careful not to spill it. As you put the wooden spatula in to the wax you will find that some of it is still hard that is ok. As I started to stir I thought that it was very much like glue and very sticky. As I stirred the part that was still hard...
