Hive Of Beauty Non-Acetone Nail Polish & Varnish Remover

Advantages: works well, doesnt smell too bad, good value for money
Disadvantages: can take a while to remove glittery nail polish!

...When it comes to nail polish remover I normally buy the tesco cheap version as surely nail polish remover is nail polish remover, whether it is in a well known brand bottle or not! But no! I started wearing pale pink glittery nail varnish as it was the only thing that kept my nails strong and stopped them breaking etc, however my tescos cheap nail polish remover would not touch it, even after hours of painful scrubbing! I decided that it was about time I tried a slightly more expensive nail varnish remover to see whether it made a difference. Not being overly bothered, I grabbed the first one I saw which didn't look too cheap and bunged it in the shopping trolly. Once I got home I paid a bit more attention to the bottle and realised that it was 'cutex' nail polish remover and that it supposedly had vitamins and moisturisers to nourish... Read review

...are not tested on animals, which is great! The plastic bottle is also recyclable too. The design of the bottle is simple and attractive. The bottle is made of see through white-ish plastic and has a purple label on the front with 'Nail Polish Remover' written on it and the bottle has a purple screw top lid. The liquid itself is also purple. The ingredients in the nail polish remover are: Acetone, Aqua, Dimethicone Copolyol, Denatonium, Benzoate, CI 42090 and CI 17200. The nail varnish remover is exclusive to Tesco shops (but lets be honest, who hasn't got a Tesco shop near them these days?) so it is easy to get a hold of. Tesco also do online shopping now which can be delivered to your door, so you can also get it online at the Tesco website.
