temperature than standard warm waxes which ensures extra comfort during waxing treatments. The improved adhesion qualities of Lavender Creme Wax allows for a very thin application of wax which makes the wax very economic in use. An truely excellent alternative for those who suffer from sensitive skin.
Advantages: They work! Smooth results and qutie long lasting. Disadvantages: A bit messy and uncomfortable.
...to try a test area first. Use them on an area that won’t show: That way if you get a bad reaction, if your skin is sensitive, you won’t feel silly if you get a rash.
DO THEY WORK?***************************************
Well, after the slight discomfort and the initial teething troubles, I have to say yes, they do! They did leave a bit of sticky wax on my legs which didn’t wash off. The only way to remove it is to use oiled cotton wool; water won’t work!
The hair was definitely removed, but it did take quite a lot of effort and time. I also didn’t like the idea that I had to leave the hair until it was about 3-4mm in length before waxing. It’s not always practical to wait that long; sometimes a quick whiz round with the electric razor is the simpler option!

Advantages: cheaper than a salon wax Disadvantages: don't actually work so you'd need to pay for the salon wax on top of this
...on the leaflet inside to save you having to read it yourselves and then I'll tell you how I got on with it.
The precautions tell you to keep out of reach of children, do not swallow (why would you?) and avoid contact with eyes. It also tells you to test it on a small part of the skin before using it for the first time but I don't know anyone who actually does this, but I suppose its the right thing for people with sensitiveskin which this marketed at. It also says its not suitable for diabetics, the elderly and people taking prescribed medication for acne. Do not use on spots, cuts, varicose veins, beauty spots, broken, irritated or sunburnt skin or on skin which has suffered an adverse reaction to waxes in the past. It also states that it is for use on any body part APART from the breast or perianal or genital areas or eyebrows, nose or ears...

Advantages: WORKS REALLY WELL Disadvantages: BIT PRICEY
...I have quite sensitiveskin and when it comes to shaving I ususally end up cutting myself, coming up in a rash or getting extremely dry skin. I've now found a superb shaving creme which helps tackle all those problems PLUS others!
I'd always used cheap shaving creams, gels and mousses until I saw this new product by Gilette. It was a bit on the pricey side but sometimes it's just not worth worrying about when it comes to quality versus price. The bottle looked good, I'd seen advertisements on the product and it seemed perfect for me so I bought it.
The gel is called 'SATIN CARE' by Gilette for women. It is specifically designed for sensitiveskin and it contains aloe and vitamin E. It also contains silk extracts. The bottle specially says it is a shaving gel although once rubbed in the gel does form a brilliant, fluffy mousse...

Over the past month or so, I have been suffering from dry, chapped skin on my hands. It has been especially bad on my knuckles and my skin has been very red and itchy. Initially, I blamed this on the cold, snowy weather, but when my hands didn't get any... more
I love this product as I have very sensitive skin which is also combination and it has never irritated my skin. I use this at night in place of moisturiser to calm my skin down, it is especially good after skin has been dried by pollution, wind etc. It... more
