i have been using metal eyalash curlers and had no complaints with them and then i received these curlers from avon. i was lucky as i didnt have to pay for them. because i ordered some stuff from avon during christmas and they were offered as a free gift with some eye make up. and i was amazed at their small size. when i used i just loved them much better than the usual ones and they also have a spare pad in the handle to replace if the earlier one goes spoiled. sometimes i even heat them up with hair dryer to double it as a heated curler(although i have heated ones as well which work on cell ,who has the patience) . they r so gentle on the lashes and u can put the mascara afterwards so the curl stays there. the only thing i dont like is they are not as strong as metal ones as they can break easily. i slide my eyelashes through them ...

Being Chinese I have straight eyelashes which need curling before I put on mascara. I had read in the Times that Shu Uemura eyelashcurlers were the best for curlingeyelashes but was rather put off by the price - £18.00 for eyelashcurlers which I thought was just too much!
Whilst in duty free returning from a holiday in Hong Kong I found a pair of these eyelashcurlers being sold for HK$100 (approximately £8.00) and as I had some spare currency left I bought a pair.
They appear to look like eyelashcurlers you can get in Boots but when you hold them you notice the difference immediately. The quality of the materials used appear to be so much sturdier than the cheap metal ones and the black rubber seems to be more durable than most. I actually got a spare black rubber part when I bought mine which I have not had to use yet ...

HOW TO USE:
Open Curler, bring close and insert lashes through opening and center them. Rest upper bar of Curler on eyelid to prevent pinching. Squeeze Curler together gently but firmly. Hold a few seconds. Repeat if necessary.
