Anti-Crash Technologytm
With HobbyZone's revolutionary anti-crash technology (ACT) the Firebird Freedom makes learning to fly a 3 channel airplane easier and safer than ever before.
Two sensors on the fuselage, one on the top and one on the bottom, monitor the position of the plane in relation to the ground.
When the plane is flying level, the top sensor sees the sky while the bottom sensor sees the ground, and they tell the onboard computer (receiver) that the plane is flying correctly.
If the plane enters a severe dive, the sensors detect the change in orientation and react to the danger.
Anti-crash technology
The software in the receiver will then temporarily cut the motor, and correct the severe angle and pitch of the plane. This causes the nose to come up and pulls the plane out of the dive to help prevent the plane from crashing.
The pilot is then able to regain control. If pilots are flying correctly and do not put the plane into a severe dive situation while ACT is engaged, they will have complete control of the plane's flight pattern.
Once you have gained a higher level of confidence and experience, you can switch the ACT off. With this increased manoeuvrability, seasoned pilots can even race around pylons or engage other pilots in aerial combat.
3-Channel system
A new pilot to RC can explore the higher performance offered by a 3-channel system thanks to the ACT technology.
The third channel allows for pitch control so that pilots can make tighter turns and have a wider range of manoeuvres, as well as the option to make pitch trim adjustments while the plane is in the air.
For extra fun and excitement, the Firebird Commander comes standard with an innovative X-Port that lets you add exciting optional plug-in accessories like the Sonic Combat Module and Aerial Drop Module and Night Flight Mode (all sold separately).
The parachutist that comes with the Aerial Drop Module (sold separately) drops from the basket when the electromagnetic latch is released via the transmitter X-Port button.
Plug in the Sonic Combat Module (sold separately) and take on similarly equipped HobbyZone planes in aerial combat. When "hit" the SCM temporarily disables your motor, while allowing you to steer.
Everything you need to fly, including AA batteries, a 3-channel proportional radio system, variable rate DC peak charger, an 8.4V 900mAh Ni-MH battery pack.
A detailed instruction manual and video CD that instruct pilots on the proper techniques and steps that need to be taken to get their Firebird Freedom in the air and flying safely
The 3-channel Firebird Freedom is ideal for beginners and expert pilots allowing them to select the level of control they feel is best given their flying skills.

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight and quiet Disadvantages: Takes a while to get your milk flowing!
...After having my 2nd child, I decided to try the Tommee Tippee freedom breast pump for expressing milk for my son as I had used the Avent Isis breast pump with my 1st. This pump was on offer at the time of purchase in Tesco stores, so was quite a bargain! In the box you get the Freedom breast pump, 24 disposable breast pads, a 6oz bottle & teat, 5 bottle seals for storing & freezing milk and a handy little bag to put bottles in when out & about. The pump is quite easy to assemble, and is also easy to take apart when washing. The main thing I didnt like about this pump, was that when you first start pumping, it was quite uncomfortable and hurt a little. I also found that the milk came out really slowly at first and took a good few minutes to start coming out in a steady stream, therefore getting 2 oz of milk took around 30 minutes...

Advantages: Sorry, None, Even the price is too much, compared to more serious models. Disadvantages: Uncontrollable, Bad transmitter/receiver set, Too expensive, no replacement parts when damaged.
...I got one as a present, two months ago, not hindered by any knowledge about rc helicopter flying.
It took me about 2 hours to crash it in such a way that the helicopter was unrecoverable. ( broken tailboom )
The transmitter / receiver set is crap and caused me to loose control in the last crash. The helicopter was about 30 yards away from me and could not be controlled anymore.
Having read a lot more about rc helicopters and buying a more serious beginner's model now, i can give you my review on the Nikko:
--
The fact that it has only 3channels for control makes it impossible to control.
You need at least 4 channels to succesfully hover a helicopter:
1 Throttle ( up/down )
2 Rotate tail
3 Forward / Backward ( elevators )
4 Roll left / right ( ailerons )
For a few dollars more it is possible to buy...

Advantages: Smooth, slimline, soft Disadvantages: Pricey, could be considered overly packaged
...opening, which means trying to faff about one handed opening and closing a box, this one has a perforated section that can be removed allowing access to the pads without them spilling out everywhere. The pads themselves are all individually wrapped - which admittedly can either be seen as a plus due to being able to stick them in your bag without worrying about them getting dirty, or could be seen as excessive packaging.
The first couple of boxes I had the plastic packaging round each individual pad was quite tricky to rip open, but with more recent boxes they seem to have sorted that problem out. The pads themselves appear to consist of 3 layers: an outer layer which is in a pleasant pink shade (with a small adhesive strip for those who wish to attach the pad directly to their bra), the inner core which soaks up the milk and the outer...
