...the bangles~~
The instructions are very clearly set out, and give details for making a Stripy Bangle and a ZigZag bangle. The materials for these two bangles are obviously inside the kit, and with a bit of adult help, children should be able to make them quite easily.
~~Who is it for?~~
The pack suggests that the kit is for children aged 5 years and above. I would agree with this, because there are some quite fiddly bits, and children have to have the fine motor control to use the glue pen and get the beads in place. There is a warning that it's not suitable for children under 36 months because of small parts (beads)
~~Price and Availability~~
These kits are available from Marks and Spencer and cost £3.50.

Advantages: A base for exploring the unknown | Easy to put up and down Disadvantages: A little too light for some weather condition
...on their own do not take up much space, I can get two up in my 16 ft front room with no difficulty, but when you add the tunnel they really do need to be outdoors as the total playing area will expand to over 12 foot. And storing them is a doddle, as they fold down into zip up bags that are under 2 foot long.
Now you're not going to be able to buy your little explorers tents that look exactly like these, because they no longer sell them, but you can buy some that are very similar. ToysRUs sells a “ZigZag Village”, comprising of two tents and a tunnel for £29.99, that looks very similar. And the ELC sells a range of pop-up tents, as does Argos and Index, with prices starting from £14.99 for a single tent.
If you have young children, enough space in your garden (or living room) or go for regular trips to the park or beach, I would recommend...

Advantages: One of the few toys my daughter hasn't broken!! Disadvantages: Not many shapes/numbers to push through
...brightly coloured buttons, which make two different ringing noises and flash lights on either side of the sortere - more about those lights in a bit. The phone is a cute size and Kayleigh regularly can be found walking round the house talking to people on it. I think she prefers this to her fisher price phone because it is a much better shape for a small child, more like a mobile phone than a corded phone.
There is a zigzag mazed side which has about 25 yellow balls which just filter through the maze and make Kayleigh laugh. She likes hitting the plastic wall that covers them to make the beads jump. Which I might add is very child proof and pretty much indestructable - it has already been dropped from great heights and thrown around and is in perfect shape and if anyone can break a toy, Kayleigh can.
There is a shape sorter with four...
