The Devil`s Teardrop
Review of Devil's Teardrop - Jeffery Deaver by
fran19
Advantages: Jeffery Deaver at his best - Thrilling from page one.
Disadvantages: I didn`t want it to end.
...to this ransom demand than they thought.
This was quite a long story, but I really enjoyed it anyway. This was my first Jeffery Deaver novel (I am now on my second). The plot was good and remained interesting throughout. The twist at the end was totally unexpected, but it was worth the wait, so I will not give anymore away. I`m glad he has some more good novels that I can compare it to.
The Devils Teardrop cost £6.99 in paperback and is published by Hodder & Stoughton.

The first line of the book, 'Six minutes from now, one of us would be dead' takes the reader straight into the action at a fast pace, and you are thrown into a world of politics and subterfuge from the word go.
Holloway suffered his injury after an attempt on the life of his boss, President Leland Manning in which he was caught in the crossfire, and one of the President's friends, Ron Boyle, was killed.
Strangely though, Boyle...
