...was already familiar with Hollands pies as I like all their pastrys, but sadly, I cannot buy them where I live.
One day, in my local Asda supermarket, I noticed the name Hollands, peering at me in the chilled section, Hollands had introduced a new line, which I have not seen before.
They had introduced 2 new savoury slices which came in 2 x fillings,steak or chicken tikka, the slices are individually wrapped in a cardboard box, both priced at just ... ...I knew of all their products, as they have been bakers for many years and is a trusted name, but this was new, so I bought the steak slice. The filling had lots of succlent meat inside, and the pastry was very nice too.
You can heat them in the oven, or the microwave, I chose the microwave and with most pastrysI have warmed up in a microwave always end up soggy, but this stayed crisp on the outside. Hope my local keeps stocking these Good Old Hollands. ...
