...Okay I'd just like to say I don't actually own this product but I'm going to soon. This is not a review as such but rather information about Babyliss 230 Straighteners and the cordless variety. I asked Babyliss some questions by email as I was unsure of the differences between the 2 models and some other general questions about both. The models are: - BaByliss 2085U Pro 230°C Straighteners (£35 amazon) (also available in pink) - BaByliss 2099U Total Freedom 230 Cordless Straightener (£30 amazon) (clip-on cord included also) The cord (3m) on both is a swivel cord, I think some straighteners had a problem with no-swivel cords breaking, and also I'm sure they are easier to use. I thought I would share this info to save others from bothering/bothering Babyliss - they were very nice in their answers, and there were a lot of questions... Read review

...I've owned these straightners for approx 6 months and i couldnt live with out them! I have a lot of hair and quite wavy and they are fab for making your hair look fine silky and pin straight. They heat up in approx 2 mins to there full temp of 230 but you can range the temp for 180 right up to 230 and it shows on a digital screen on the top of the straightners they also have a salon style lenght wire so no moving your mirror to the nearest plug socket! These straightners run so smootn across the hair as you can find with some straightners that they tend to pull the hair. I really havent got a dislike with these straightners highly reccommended item enjoy!... Read review

...These are the best straighteners Ive ever had!! My last one were Nicky Clarke and they fell to bits after a bit of use and the temperature was none adjustable, so burns were many! I have found these great value for money I think currently they are £60 in argos. They have adjustable heat setting which adapts really quickly heating up to 230C hence the name and if you are in a rush they are brill as they are ready to go within 30 seconds. They also have ceramic coated plates which I find leaves a great shine and my hair feeling really soft. Best of all it comes with a heat proof mat as i burnt the carpet with the last ones and four clips are included too.... Read review
