Disadvantages: Poor customer service, poor value for money, constantly malfunctions

Overall, I would not recommend Homechoice to anyone unless you are a masochist who enjoys hanging on phones for hours and then being abused simply for making a complaint. Thinking of Tiscali TV? in one word DON'T!!! I have the full package from Tiscali - TV, internet and Telephone although the actually products are pretty good the customer service is appalling! When the engineer did arrive (3 wks later) we had the wrong box and then had to wait another 2 wks!! the plus box was finally installed Weds, it is now Monday and its broke! Disadvantages: picture quality isn't up to usual digital standard

...far as I am aware, Home Choice is a relatively new service, but being a bit of a TV-aholic, I've had it for about a fortnight now. Obviously once I've had it a bit longer, my opinion may change but for now I am more than happy with it! Hi thinking of getting Homechoice (now Tiscali)....DON'T I have been with Homechoice since 2004 and all seemed well, when it did crash out came an engineer with a new box and away I went again. BUT..now tiscali have taken over they seem to have a don't care attitude and say they can not get the boxes and don't know when they can...waited 3 weeks and still nothing. Disadvantages: Poor picture quality, doesn't quite live up to expectations

...I'm a student, which means two things: firstly - I have loads of time on my hands to do exciting things like watching TV 19 hours a day, and secondly that I can't afford to do that. So if I am to shell out a fortune on more channels, it better be worth it. OnDigital does not cover my area, some 'builder-types' said "Ooooh no, I can't see that happening" (on digging up the driveway to install cable) and Home Choice is still only in certain areas of London. I look down my road and I see that practically every house has a satellite dish. Is this the way to go? Well I don't think so. I do not have Sky myself but my girlfriend and a few of my mates do. Advantages: Well published, Always something to read, Always upto date
Disadvantages: Expensive/ not good value for money, News and reviews can be found on the net before hand, reviews and articles are not that great

...of interviews and articles that relate to specific DVD features or actor & directors. Also for a magazine I think it has some of the most useful adverts you’ll find. The vast majority are aimed at the DVD enthusiast; from new DVD releases for that month to online rental stores to home cinema equipment specialists. It’s definitely a great read if you’re a bit of a novice. Although if you really were a novice and wanted some more detailed advice I’d recommend Home Cinema Choice magazine. DVD Review does it’s job adequately for a monthly publication but herein lies the problem. Since I have become internet ready, so to speak, I can catch any news about forthcoming DVD on the day they break.
