Review of Panasonic SC-BT100 by

Advantages: blu ray superior picture and sound quality. 1000 watts
Disadvantages: only 3 speakers
I tested this out in shop and it sounded excellent. I bought it and it sounds 10 times better in my lounge. The 1000 watts power fills room with clear powerful sound.
The music special fx and speech is crystal clear. It has a whisper mode so even at lower volumes the sound is perfect. This is a blu ray player and picture quality is beautiful. It will also up grade old dvds to higher quality. This is true they are better pictures but not that much ...

Mind your eardrums
Review of Panasonic SC-HT 520 by

Advantages: Super sound, many different sound choices
Disadvantages: Lots of wiring
This came as part of a package with our previous TV from Currys and we didn't really expect a great deal from it to be honest. It has since survived a house move and we have had no problems with it.
There are so many variations with the different sounds, disco, flat, hall, clear, to name but a few and they all have a different sound. DVD's, especially movies with the Dolby surround sound is very impressive indeed, on a par with the cinema, and has ... ...and found the initial setting up a bit of a struggle, not so much with the connections on each speaker, but where to run all the cabling so as not to have wires trailing everywhere. I did get there in the end. Two speakers at the front, by the TV, and two behind you with a big separate speaker for the bass. The aluminium colour looks stylish, the speakers can be mounted on a wall or on stands that are supplied.
It's certainly worth the hassle of ...

SCHT500 Home Cinema Powerhouse!
Review of Panasonic SCHT500 by

Advantages: Very Powerful, Stylish Design, Good Compatability.
Disadvantages: Poor Vocal Audio Level, Not Multiregion as Standard.
...Comet along with a 28" Panasonic TX28PS1 (<--- see my profile for review soon) at a package price of £799 I was first of all very pleased with the combined value of the unit as it's separate retail value at the time was a little over £400.
The system came in one rather large box containing the DVD/CD player the Subwoofer/Amp and the five speakers. Also included in the package were five copper cables, one for each of the speakers. The power cord, ... ...audio cables and scart lead and cannot remember if any were supplied as standard in the box.
The instruction manual contained a detailed set of setup instructions that can be followed quite easily but I would say do require a little bit of added common sense in order to get through a couple of the stages during setup. All of the steps are diagrammed well and explained in plain English with just enough detail. Setup took over 60mins as I had to test ...

Advantages: Full cinema effect
Disadvantages: N/A
Got this great system Dec 2004. This has been money well spent. We have had great fun and lots of use from this system.
Cost £149 from argos. Very easy to set up . We also had a panny widescreen tv the only disadvantage is we havent worked out how to use only one remote instead of both. Mainly lazyness on our part tho. We just couldnt wait to get going . And what an awesome sound you get. Love the way it lights up when in use. Great blue back light. ... ...dancemat mad kids. lol A very highly recommended system. So sit back and enjoy cinema quailty surround sound in your living room.
