Simply the best!!
Review of Panasonic SCDV290 by

Advantages: Excellent System, more features than you will ever need.
Disadvantages: No microphone sockets.
...comes with a pair of Panasonic batteries ready to install. The buttons are a good size but perhaps grouped a little to close together. The layout is logical and most of the features of the system can be access via the remote controls.
The system can be as easy or as complicated to use as you make it. It can be a simple case of switching it on and inserting a DVD, to a complex matter to selecting seating positions and playing around the dubbing settings
... ...from the sold bass thumping to the high pitch tweeters. The surround is brilliant, on more than one occasion I have turned around expecting to see some one standing behind me. In terms of sound out put the main two speakers at the front can punt out 600watts between them. The surround speakers are rated at 75w each. The graphic equaliser has several pre-sets and a can be configured to a number of manual ones. However I would recommend using the presets. ...

Disgusted
Review of Aiwa BMZ-K 7 by
leanne541
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: EVERYTHING
...nearly £500 pounds on a Aiwa Hifi system beliveing it was a good make and a good Hifi system.
Maybe it could have been justified if i had the stupid thing longer than 1 year!, but i only had it for 7 months.
The Hifi will not play any CDs at all, things switch themselves on without pressing anything.
My brothers brand new VCR broke without cause he had that vcr for just over a year.
My friend in college bought a broand new aiwa minidisc and that ...

pros and cons of the system, overall good buy
Review of Bose 321 GS by
benlee1083
Advantages: superb quality of sound and picture
Disadvantages: hidden costs
The basic points of the entertainment system are:
Pros:
1 - Unbelievable sound quality
2 - Easy installation, 3 cables, 2 speakers, 1 boxset hence 321
3 - great picture quality
4 - prepares you for the future of digital tv with HD compatibility
5 - stores huge amounts of music on the hard drive installed in the set.
Cons :
1 - hidden costs in the hdmi cable and speaker fixings.
2 - unattractive box set. Large and clumsy.
3 - only comes ... ...is a beautiful model and great for home entertainment without bursting your purse strings. Unbelievably easy to install with minimal effort, only things were when I bought it there were the hidden costs of speaker fixings to attach to the wall and the hdmi cable for future purchase of a HDTV but otherwise highly recommend it. ...

Philips HTS3154 DVD Home Theatre System
Review of Philips HTS 3154 by
Matheusl02
Advantages: USB and DivX playback support
Disadvantages: Doesn't support U3 or very large hard drives
i have had this Home Cinema DVD player for over a year now and as far as i can tell there have been absolutely no problems with it. excellent all round DVD player, and has USB and DivX support which is brilliant as i watch a lot of films from my memory stick. One bad thing about the USB is that it doesn't support very large hard drives and U3 drives - anything which you need specific drivers for. The DVD player also has MP3 line-in which is very ... ...compatible with the USB, so you can just plug it in. One feature i found really good was that it remembers where you were last in your DVD, and that has come in very handy as I am always having to go and do something else.
Overall an excellent Home Cinema DVD player, with some features that could be added. ...
