Not up to Samsungs usual standard
Review of Samsung HT-X 200 by
dmc22
Advantages: Good styling and easy set up
Disadvantages: Poor value for money and sound not adjustable
...and links well with a Samsung TV using the 'Anytime system, plus the clean sleek glossy styling is easy on the eye. The downside is that the bass is too deep and not adjustable, and a very noticable 'static noise' comes in after about half an hour after the system has been switched on. I have heard since that others have noticed this only through a games console but i have had the same effect through watching satellite and terrestial TV. I queried ...

Samsung HT-Q20 Home Cinema System
Review of Samsung HT-Q 20 by
danmclovin
Advantages: Excellent quality, great features!
Disadvantages: No speaker stands!
...movie experience. I have the Samsung HT-Q20 home cinema system in my house, and whilst it's certainly not the best system available on the market, I find it does a pretty good job for the price.
The Samsung HT-Q20 is almost a complete home entertainment system, since not only does it offer a dvd player with 5.1 surround sound, but it also has a built in radio tuner, plays audio CD's and has a USB slot for MP3 player compatability. These features ... ...the time. The system looks great, as you would expect from a Samsung product, and comes in a sleek, matte black design with a metallic silver lining throughout the range of items. The home cinema system consists of a DVD player, 5 speakers, a ...

Value for money Home Cinema System
Review of LG HT 353SD by
panther23
Advantages: Design, style, quality, options
Disadvantages: can not see any
...and found this one. Saw LG HT353SD in Sainsbury's for just £79.99 and was not sure. I checked all the other prices online and details on manufacturer's website. Same day decided to go for it and bought it next day. I have it over one week now and am totally satisfied. It does exactly everything what should and does it great. This home theatre system is very nice looking and nicely designed. Stylish I would say as each speakers surface reflects. Cables ... ...power of 75W (3 Ohms).
LG HT353SD is compatible with DTS, Dolby Digital, VSM, DTS ES, natural EQ, auto HQ, Dolby Prologic, DSP mode and 2Ch Stereo (By-Pass) sound effects. To adjust each speaker settings you need to go to on screen menu by pressing enter and choosing sound option. In there you can adjust all properties like distance from speaker to source or signal strength (according to your own preferences) plus/minus 6Db. On the same menu you ...
