Not up to Samsungs usual standard
Review of Samsung HT-X 200 by
dmc22
Advantages: Good styling and easy set up
Disadvantages: Poor value for money and sound not adjustable
...and links well with a Samsung TV using the 'Anytime system, plus the clean sleek glossy styling is easy on the eye. The downside is that the bass is too deep and not adjustable, and a very noticable 'static noise' comes in after about half an hour after the system has been switched on. I have heard since that others have noticed this only through a games console but i have had the same effect through watching satellite and terrestial TV. I queried ...

A flawed offering!
Review of Philips HTS 6510 by
databust
Advantages: Doesn't require separate rear speakers for surround sound.
Disadvantages: No optical sound input. Booming base speaker that can't be toned down.
...digital surround sound through the Philips system Philips system. The instruction manual repeatedly implies that the scart socket can be used to input a Dolby Digital surround signal, but this is totally incorrect and misleading, and frankly makes you wonder if anyone at Philips knows what they're talking about. This is a digrace, and many purchasers may be greatly confused by this nonsense.
FM radio reception and playback is very weak and noisy, ... ...way of doing it. The Philips software intercepts the signal, and in my hands at least, insists on displaying it at low res. Very frustrating!
I've always been a fan of Philips products in the past, but sadly this half-baked offering has made me change my mind.
Incidentally, I see tat this product is no longer listed on the Philips website - less than a year after I purchased it. I presume this means that it has been deservedly discontinued. ...

oliwog
Advantages: the best sound an connectivity on the market for the price
Disadvantages: no optical connection, but its a 2.1 anyway
se the sound quality is exceptional especially for a 2.1 system, hdmi upscaling (1080i) is very good and a noticable improvement in picture quality, the surround sound effect works very well it has an effect called ambisound that sends out the sound all around you an bounces it off the walls, it sounds very good the active sub is superb with deep clear bass an theres loads of connections for other devices including USB, IPOD dock, hdmi, digital out, ...

Bose 321 GS
Review of Bose 321 GS by
walshy747
Advantages: Sleek Elegant Design, Top quality sound, Includes DVD and Radio into one compact box.
Disadvantages: You can get distorted sound on the radio.
The Bose 321 Gs is a stunning product. Just at a glance the sleek design of the product hits you straight in the face and pulls you in. The design and the colors are just beautiful and just screams to you buy me. If you like the smooth elegant design then this is indefinably the product for you.
The actually product also follows on from the excellent design work. The product consists of 2 speakers and a Subwoofer. It also has a DVD player and a ... ...lack of wires. The bose system consists of only 3 wires connecting the system together and your ready to go.
Overall although bose is either a love or hate product i can defiantly say that maybe the price is a bit to expensive but i do recommend this product. ...
