Fantastic sounds all around from my surround!
Review of Panasonic SC-PT 150 by andycharger

Advantages: Great sound and price
Disadvantages: Looks a bit dated and remote fiddly

...and feel, the retro feel Panasonic PT-150 is a sure winner with me. Reason for purchase. After setting up my old fireplace as a "hole in the wall" entertainment system, I experienced one major problem with my Sony surround sount system. It stopped working. Reason being that old soot and debris had fallen down the chimney and filtered through the air vents into the workings and shorted it out! Not to be put off my my idea, i fixed the falling soot ...
...Surround sound that fitted with the room and matched the other items. This would need it to be Silver in colour, the same width dimensions as the Sony ( to fit on the mounts) and thin in height (to fit in the narrow clearance). IT would also need the following conenctions so I could connect it directly to me set up. At least 1 Scart for the Sky X box, Phono plugs for connecting the Xbox 360 sound and built in DVD player to prevent buying a new separate ... Read review

Mind your eardrums
Review of Panasonic SC-HT 520 by Gary25

Advantages: Super sound, many different sound choices
Disadvantages: Lots of wiring

This came as part of a package with our previous TV from Currys and we didn't really expect a great deal from it to be honest. It has since survived a house move and we have had no problems with it. There are so many variations with the different sounds, disco, flat, hall, clear, to name but a few and they all have a different sound. DVD's, especially movies with the Dolby surround sound is very impressive indeed, on a par with the cinema, and has ...
...and found the initial setting up a bit of a struggle, not so much with the connections on each speaker, but where to run all the cabling so as not to have wires trailing everywhere. I did get there in the end. Two speakers at the front, by the TV, and two behind you with a big separate speaker for the bass. The aluminium colour looks stylish, the speakers can be mounted on a wall or on stands that are supplied. It's certainly worth the hassle of ... Read review

Review of Panasonic SC-HT 75 by junkboxjules

Advantages: Stores up to 5 DVD's/CD's at a time, Allows you to mark up to five places on the DVD to return to later, Good quality sound and well known manufacturer
Disadvantages: You have to purchase a SCART lead before you can use the DVD Home Cinema System as it is not included within the package

...lucky enough to win a Panasonic SC-HT70 All In One Home Theater Package in a National Competition. Until this point we didn't have a DVD player and we were absolutely thrilled to bits with our prize when it arrived and from that day forward we began to purchase DVD's in place of videos. Some of you may know that earlier this year, in June, we returned home from holiday to find that our house had been burgled and that amongst lots of other valuable ...

HOME CINEMA AT ITS BEST
Review of Panasonic SC-MT 1 by PJAYS

Advantages: BRINGS FILMS TO LIFE
Disadvantages: SUB-WOOFER LOOKS BULKY IN FRONT OF TELEVISION

I have just purchased the Panasonic SCMT1, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be `in` the film as well as watching it!, it is that good. The first film I put in was Bad Boys 2, and the bullets were whistling around my living room so much, I kept ducking and diving!. I can not tell you if this system is any better than any other make. The one thing I can say is “You will not be disappointed” Just to show you how good it is, I put the ...
...AM/FM radio. I purchased this Panasonic on the Web, after doing a lot of research , both for `quality` and of course price. I always consult `PRICERUNNER.COM`, before I buy anything. They are not always up to spec, but they are never far out. The best deal at the time was from ¬TECHTRONICS`, AN INTERNET BASED ELECTRONICS COMPANY, and I paid an extra £20 to have it adjusted to play `MULTI-REGION DVD’S, which really recommend to anyone, especially ... Panasonic SC-HT340
Review of Panasonic SC-HT 340 by MattUtd

Advantages: Great Value for a Brand Name
Disadvantages: No infra-red speakers

This is a great entry level home cinema system for less than £150. I bought this about 12 months ago from Richer Sounds during one of their sales. It's very easy to install as all the wires are colour coded so even a novice will understand what to do. The instructions are pretty self-explanatory so within 30 minutes you should have it ready to go. The only down-side with non infra-red systems like this is the fact there's lots of wires. You've basically ...
...to the DVD player. As you can imagine the amount of wire behind your TV will build up. The picture quality is pretty good and the sound is more than enough to fill a standard size living room. Other benefits include the built-in FM/AM radio but it's not DAB. You can also play CDs in this system which makes it a great alternative to your Hi-Fi. The remote control allows you to adjust a range of options including sound and picture quality. For those ... Read review
