Setting up this kit was very easy with its very informative instruction booklet. It gave very detailed directions on where to plug everything into and exactly what everything on it did. The dvd player was also of fantastic quality picture was superb and i couldnt really find any faults with it. I've had this for a year and a half to two years now and it's never really let me down. It plays back DVDs VCDs etc. with no bother, as well as a fantastic feature of being able to use mp3 CDs and mp3 DVDs - alot of the time you can get your entire song collection into one DVD, and the player has a way of browsing through artists, genre etc. depending on how you set up the file system. Two grips though. Firstly, sometimes the speakers crackle noticibly ...

You should always start a new session off with the volume set to 0 anyway... but oh well. secondly - there is no way (that has been found so far) of getting this player to play NTSC DVDs (region 1) without making any modifications to it (as in, there is no factory reset). ...player to plug into my JVC m303 as it won't play Cds/dvds any more. I was given it by JVC as a replacement for another dire mini stereo system that was so flawed they couldn't repair it. I was happy when they said i'dget a home cinema even though i only anted it as a stereo. The first M303 they sent me didn't work, it kept skipping and stalling. Then the next one did work for about a yeear then a cd jammed. This went on and off for the nest year ...
