Small price, big sound!

Advantages: Great home cinema system at a bargain price
Disadvantages: Cables could be a little longer

...was doing some shopping in Asda when I noticed they sold home cinema systems and seeing this set available priced at only £18, I was intrigued. I think when I noticed and purchased this home cinema system a few weeks ago it must have been on offer as the price is now £25. However, having bought this home cinema system, I believe £25 is still a fantastic price to pay and well worth the money. I was very sceptical about actually buying the speakers ...

BDV-360FS Full HD Blu-ray Disc system 2.1 sound

Advantages: Almost wire free given two speakers, tremendous sound performance
Disadvantages: Disappointing that two remotes still needed to power on, the amplifier display is a bit naff

Perfect for the smaller room.

Advantages: Tiny speakers, compact and good looking.
Disadvantages: Not enough inputs for a living room system.

You need to have the control set to 60 to 65, which is most of the way, but at this position the sound output is exactly what you need for a good action movie. Very stylish offering from Philips

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, good sound.
Disadvantages: Picture and colours could be better.
