...It's by far my best Samsung purchase to date (or win come to that) and proves that these Cinema Sound systems have come on leaps and bounds since their first appearance in homes in 1994. If you consider yourself a film enthusiast then there can be no other set up for you. Advantages: clean looking, excellent quailty, low price, great sound

Having purchased the Samsung HT-X30 in a package deal with a Samsung 42" plasma, i can say that i was impressed staright away. The main dvd unit is the same piano black as my tv, with an eluminated blue power button, again the same as my tv. This system upscales into HD, 1080 to precise, when coupled to an hdtv via a hdmi cable the quality is outstanding, maybe not as good as a genuine hd player, but not bad. ...dvd or jpeg now with samsung you can read divx ,wmp,just plug your i pod in the sistem and see and listen your photo.what about sound quality and video quality ,is really really good with no only the only normal and old prologic but now have prologic 2 with so different mode ,and if you watching for db is in haugh for your living room.
