Good quality Player at a good, quality price

Advantages: Easy to use, good quality in picture and sound
Disadvantages: can be slow in starting up

I have owned this player for about 12 months, it was my first dip into the home cinema market and I have to say I was very pleased when I did. There are menus within the DVD player to allow you to change the volume of each speaker so you can get it to your desired level. Sharp HTM700 (DVD package system - inc speakers)

Advantages: easy to set up
Disadvantages: hiding the multitude of speaker wires

I recently picked one of these up for £100 in a sale, wanted to experience the likes of Blackhawk Down in full DTS. It took a little while to change the room around to fit the satellites to their stands(not included) etc. All the sockets on the rear of the player are well marked and there is plenty of wire supplied. Perfect for the smaller room.

Advantages: Tiny speakers, compact and good looking.
Disadvantages: Not enough inputs for a living room system.

The Samsung HT-TZ215 is supurb in looks, quality and sound!

Advantages: Great looks, ease of use, very powerful, sooo many functions
Disadvantages: Have found no disadvantages

Very stylish offering from Philips

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, good sound.
Disadvantages: Picture and colours could be better.
