...can be viewed on the Sony website. What Attracted Me To This System? I wanted something that was modern looking and sophisticated. It was highly rated by What Hi-Fi? The speakers are very "subtle" and wall mountable - I didn't want large in your face speakers. Sony is a quality brand that I rate. I wanted something that gave good sound quality from music CD's (I use it as a Hi-Fi as well). My Verdict? Whilst I wouldn't class myself as a "tv/vision/hi-fi" ...
...The music quality from CD's is cracking, considering this is not a dedicated music player. The bass is not overpowering, just a quality feeling. The mid range from the 5 wall mounted speakers is also superb (especially given their size - I still wander how they can produce the sound they do!!!). ...purchased this product in a Sony centre. I have to say it was most definetly not a dissapointing purchase, as I was really impressed with the Design and the intense ambience which it provides throught the 6 radio enhanced speakers. A drawback however was the lack of a Dolby surround system. The wireless speakers were not dissapointing, but I found that they sounded funny when watching TV channels. ...fact that their were no messy wires, really helped keep my living room tidy. All in all, it was an expensive product and something I had been saving up for, but it was within reason of price and it justified its price tag. ...helpful chap at the local Sony Centre said that he could not really notice a difference between these speakers and the floor standing ones. The rest of the system is identical. Finally as testament to how good this system is I have just finished installing the same setup at my Dad\'s house. I am truly amazed at the functions and quality of this product for the price. ...this DAV-DZ630 this one from Sony mostly becuase of the price and the fact it has theatre sync which i can use with my song bravia lcd tv I have a extremely odd shaped living room but the auto calibration facility (it comes with a supplied micro) has produced very satisfactory results better than i ever imagined, the sound even reaches the furthermost regions of the room. Advantages: HDMI, easy set up with calibration microphone
Disadvantages: no divx but otherwise perfect

...- designed to complement the sony Bravia TVs (which I have!) The unit was really easy to set up, just follow the on screen wizard, and it comes with a microphone for calibrating the speakers, which was fun. The sound quality is excellent on DVDs, CDs and normal TV, and the picture quality on scart and HDMI is superb, the home theatre sync is a nice touch and complements the smart remote control.
