Comet's misleading information Advantages: Oven looks good and I may lose weight from not eating for another two days Disadvantages: Misleading information on website and customer services advising that they could not be flexible I needed a new oven and so loked as several websites - Comet advertised that they offered FREE delivery and installation on their NEFF ovens, so i purchased this item from them for this reason. I completed the order from and arrange 1 days leave from work. On delivery they informed me that they were not aware there was an installation. I called Comet Customer Sevices office and was advised that they were fully booked and I had to wait a further TWO ... ...I must take and the inconvenience of a further two days without an oven. The girl did say she would refund the delivery charge I was charged (although their website stated FREE delivery) and the scappage fee £8 - great - I get £8 back for having to wait for installation 2 days and having to use 2 days leave. I would have ordered this product from another website if I was aware that they would not install the delivered item for a further two days.I ... Horrendous Advantages: NONE AT ALL Disadvantages: Lied to, not called back when told I would be, no-one seems to know what they are talking about I have never ever experienced such awful, incompetent service from a retailer. Over the last 6 weeks dealing with Curry's I have lost count how many times I have been told someone would call me back and they haven't or given misinformation. I ordered a washer/dryer which did not work and got it changed through the manufacturer. This one worked for 5 days before breaking which is when I contacted curry's to get a refund. The girl I spoke to on the ... ...for a different machine which i did but was aware that Comet had this in store at a cheaper price, she informed me that they would price match the washer/dryer but it would not arrive instock until 15th Oct. I agreed to the exchange as long as I could get a weekend delivery as I had already taken 2 days off work to await deliveries. The 15th Oct came and went and i finally contacted curry's on the 22nd Oct to find out what was happening. DONT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY! B & don't Q Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: no price match guarantee online This website is really well laid out and is very useful if you're a busy person and need info quick. The special offers section is particually good and the pictures are big enough and clear enough to make sure you're buying the right thing without seeing it. B&Qs price match promise is great. No only will they refund the difference but they'll also give you 10% extra. The only problem is that this doesn't apply online so watch out. HOW DISSAPOINTING!!!! Advantages: IF YOU LIKE SWEETS ITS THE PLACE FOR YOU Disadvantages: EVERYTHING ELSE ...extremely excited to here that hobbycraft was opening up locally and waited in aticipation for it to open and i was nothing but DISSAPOINTED with the place. The front of the shop was taken up by sweet and xmas trees, where is the craft in that. I find hobbycraft very over priced and the level of service is nowhere near as good as you get in little craft stores. I visit a craft store in middlesbrough and the staff are extremely helpful.
