Disadvantages: Everthing, Bills should be settled directly with the repairer instead of customer

British Gas Homecare - UNRELIABLE / BAD SERVICE

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Bad bad service do not subscribe to this under any conditions

We telephoned you on 26/03/09 on our Britsh Gas Homecare agreement ( which we pay £28 per month for ! they said they would send an engineer to fix our central heating on 27/03/09 between 8-6. We waited in all day, at 5pm I phoned to check if the engineer was still coming, I was told they will definatley attend before 6pm. Halifax - bad insurance

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: The halifax

...of 5th Sep 2008. The Halifax at this date of 8th Dec 2008 are still being indecisive about how to deal with it. They have ripped out the kitchen, taken up floor boards from the lounge, left the bathroom totally. They have not removed the plaster up to a height of 1 meter. Instead they have put in an inadequate de-humidifier in one room with a plastic container which requires emtying daily, this does not happen so it overflows and floods the kitchen ...
...it is not drying out. Other properties around us which did all the right things are nearly ready to move back into. They are a disgrace. Review of Halifax Home Insurance

Lloyds TSB

Advantages: Helpful bank, always try to help during financial difficulty.
Disadvantages: Try to sell you things you don't want, high bank charges.

I have been with Lloyds TSB literally all my life, they've always seemed to be a good bank to me, they won't lend me money as it is as I've never had credit and have been a student and never had a full time job, which is good, alot of banks don't care and will give money out to anyone regardless of whether they can pay it back or not, but I've never had this with Lloyds, the ony thing with them is the charges they put on your account for an unplanned ...
...on when I was at college gettign EMA, it gives you a Visa Electron card which means you can spend only whats in the account, but can use it at cash points and in many many shops. So, in colclusion, yes lloyds tsb is a good reputable bank!! :-) ...
