Lloyds TSB are becoming increasingly irritating with their in-branch pushy sales tactics. What used to be a five minute visit to the bank has now become 40 minutes as they try and sell you a mortgage, credit card, loan, insurance or an up grade to your account. This means they want to take you into a room to try and sell you products and you will feel very awkward about coming out of the room, 40 minutes later, without agreeing to insurance/ credit card/ mortgage. In my case British Gas had to be reminded to come for the annual service and the engineer took 10 minutes most of which time was taken up in filling in bits of paper to prove that he had attended. ...need to be replaced (by British Gas) I wonder how many people who subscibe to Homecare realise that it does not protect the condition of the boiler and that the engineers do not infact carry out an annual service at all? Have Mastercare cover for my Fridge freezer which has just decided to play up and it was making a racket.Isuspect it was an intrernal fan as this has happened before.Called to get a engineer to visit and was given a appointment a week hence.ABSOLOUTELY USELESS.I aclled the day after to tell them the problem was much worse and the noise was keeping us awake at night.STILL NO JOY.Appointment could not be earlier although i said it was an emergency ...

I didn't expect them to do anything and was stunned by what happened next - they asked me for the contact details for the other companies and then proceeded to sort everything out within half a day. A couple of weeks ago i stood on the toilet pan to reach for something, the pan tipped over leaving the pipes in place but me and the pan on the floor! The water went through to the celing below causing it to crack on the plasterboard joints. I called the insurance who said they would ring me back...no...when I rang back they said they would ring me the next day. They arranged for an assessor to come out 2 days later but i asked were they aware ...
