...I bought this steamer mop about 6 months ago . I have mostly hard floors in my house, 1 very large boisterous dog and 2 mucky kids so I hate having to mop the floors. I thought i would try a simple steam mop, I didn't want anything to flash or a multi talented steam appliance, I just wanted a better faster easier alternative to string mops and soggy floors. The Home tek mop was a cheaper option than most of the other similar steam products It looked simple and straight forward but to be honest I didn't have a whole lot in faith in it becoming like a best friend. I can honestly say I will never look back after buying the Home-tek Ht834 Steam Mop. ...I recently purchased a Home-Tek steam mop on the advice of a friend, and I have to say that I have not been disapointed with it. It is really quick and easy to use, but I would advise that extra pads are purchased as it is a bit of pain having to keep washing and drying the same one. As I have young children it was important that the floor was not too wet after, and this mop does not leave too much water behind, and what is left drys very quickly. I would say that it is not very good on carpets, so if you are getting it for that reason be warned, it probably won't do the job and you may want to look at something better. It is also quite small so will not take up too much room.... Read review

...I travel a lot for business purposes and there is nothing I hate more than creased clothes, especially if I am meeting a client. Looking good for me is what life is all about and hotel irons have never been that great nor has my travel iron. Then the Home-Tek Travel Streamer Iron was thrust into my hands by a work colleague whom after hearing my moans assured me that if I took care of her precious item I could use it and return it. The Home-Tek Iron is to be blunt shaped like an old fashioned Joystick and looks nothing like an Iron or in fact a travel iron, which I must say look naff and cheap in any capacity. This iron is really lightweight and fits into my travel case with relative ease alongside my hair straighners and hairdryer. So arriving at my designated hotel I almost scream with anger that my power trip business suit... Read review
