...I bought this steamer mop about 6 months ago . I have mostly hard floors in my house, 1 very large boisterous dog and 2 mucky kids so I hate having to mop the floors. I thought i would try a simple steam mop, I didn't want anything to flash or a multi talented steam appliance, I just wanted a better faster easier alternative to string mops and soggy floors. The Home tek mop was a cheaper option than most of the other similar steam products It looked simple and straight forward but to be honest I didn't have a whole lot in faith in it becoming like a best friend. I can honestly say I will never look back after buying the Home-tek Ht834 Steam Mop. ...I recently purchased a Home-Tek steam mop on the advice of a friend, and I have to say that I have not been disapointed with it. It is really quick and easy to use, but I would advise that extra pads are purchased as it is a bit of pain having to keep washing and drying the same one. As I have young children it was important that the floor was not too wet after, and this mop does not leave too much water behind, and what is left drys very quickly. I would say that it is not very good on carpets, so if you are getting it for that reason be warned, it probably won't do the job and you may want to look at something better. ...are given the options as you would normally get from your home iron as to what setting you need, which for me is a rapid improvement, although the more creased my clothes the more I tend to just use maximum as a setting anyway, but the option is still there. Since using this iron and finding it brilliant to use and easy to carry I did actually hand it back to my colleague with difficulty but then decided to purchase my own. Home-Tek are not a brand I had heard of, so with my basic computer knowledge I managed to find out a little bit about the company using Google and found that they are championed by Ainsley Harriot and make an array of household good from kettles, carpet sweepers, sterilizers and irons to juicing machines, ovens and slow cookers and sell their items in 70 countries worldwide, so they are definitely a brand on the move...
