...the glass every week or so; having said that it is very easy to clean the glass with Cif cream and a damp cloth. Any burnt on stains, which occur when something falls against the glass whilst it is burning, are easily removed using on of those green scouring cloths. The stove also uses the Cleanburn System which means that air is heated in a cavity before being sent into the stove, thus increasing the efficiency levels of the stove. As I said earlier the stove is a multi fuel burner and to change between solid fuel burning and wood burning there is an external nut on the right hand side of the stove which can be turned to change the layout of the grate. The grate needs to be solid with a bed of ash on it for wood burning. For solid fuel burning it needs to be clear and to have holes through it. The turning of the nut does exactly that... ...intervals. Also fitted is a warming rack which is very handy for keeping the food hot whilst waiting for the rest of the food to be completed. Externally the BBQ has one shelf on each side which is constructed of aluminium with a solid wooden surround whilst the base has aluminium slats and a mesh cover for the from which is held in place with velcro strips but I havent worked out what this is actually for. The assembly of this product was pretty straight forward with diagrams, pictures and instructions in the booklet that came with it and was easily completed by the two of us in 20 minutes. Overall we are more than happy with this item and have used it a few times allready this year. This BBQ comes complete with a hose and regulator for easy connection to any Patio gas bottle. Advantages: Looks nice

...Outback BBQ's look amazing when you buy them but after a couple of years you realise they are made of impressively heavy but extremely cheap materials. Despite using a cover, regular cleaning and storage over winter rust set in and last week whilst having a BBQ the paint work around the cooking area caught fire - and we're talking major flames here - just to make it clear it wasn't fat but the paint which has now all been stripped off????? My burners have also rusted through and need replacing and the hood is also starting to rust. I thought it was just me but have subsequently spoken with friends who have had similar problems. If you want something that's nice to look at buy one - if you want one that lasts - don't bother. I'm off to buy a new BBQ and it won't be an Outback.... Read review
