Lights Up Your Garden
Advantages Cheap to buy, enough light to see where you are going
Disadvantages None
We had wanted some lighting in our garden for a long time as we love to sit out there of an evening. We did not have any way of using wired lighting though as there would be no where to plug it in and it would cost too much to have something wired in just for garden lights.
We have never had solar panel lights before so did not really know what to expect. The main part of the light is made from silver coloured plastic which looks a bit metallic. It has a long pointy stick which you push into the ground or where ever you want them placed. We have ours pushed into tubs along with some flowers. On top of the spikey bit you have the light part which looks like a white glassy thing with a silver roof to it and a black square bit on this that is the mini solar panel. You should arrange the lights so that the panelled bit is facing around the way the sun comes into your garden.
The lights draw in the energy during the day time once the sun is up and fill up the storage inside. We didn't put ours in first until the afternoon and it was not that sunny out but once the sun went down and it started to get a bit dark the lights started glowing. It was amazing seeing them come on for the first time lol. It is nice to know that once you have bought these lights you will not need to have to pay out for batteries or have wiring going round the garden.
