I regularly suffer from mid-back and shoulder tension causing painful muscle spasms, and also lower back ache.
This massager is a product that actually works for me.
I am very sceptical about complementary medical products but was influenced by trying a demo one in House of Fraser. I reasonsed it must be robust or they would not have one in daily use in store! The unit is well built and feels of good quality.
The massage given is deep and powerful. You choose lower back, upper back or whole back. This is a useful facility when you want to target a specific area. You can feel the various pressure points moving over your back and this can be painful over muscles in spasm - but you can lift your back slightly away or wear a thick top to minimise the pain until your muscles start to relax.
What else can I say other than it
works. It certainly helps relieve my muscle tension and the increase in blood flow it stimulates is very beneficial to the healing process. It is a pleasurable experience for those without back pain and can be used for relaxation alone.
To overcome back pain I have combined this massager with a Backlife Backlifter and a program of stretching exercises. I could not afford weekly trips to a chiropractor.
You will need a suitable chair with a firm back.
CONCLUSION - I would not be without this now.
