Back ache is hereditary in my family, it has travelled through generations on my father's side and much of it is linked to ankylosing spondylitis which is best described as a type of arthritis that affects the spine or backbone. I've had some quite bad back pain for over twelve months now, with the main symptoms being lower back pain and stiffness. I have suffered from intermittent back pain for years now, ever since I was in my late teens. I have tried various things but nothing much has helped. I recently went into Debenhams after we had attended a family Christening in Newcastle just to have a nose around. I bought the SBM-300 in December. After a few days the Shiatsu part stopped working. Only the rolling part worked. I took it for repairs and received it back. After 3 days the Shiatsu part stopped working again. Again I took it for repairs. They repaired it again and it worked for a few weeks. Now the Shiatsu side doesn't work up and down. It gets stuck half way and on top. I have to take it to repairs again. It is a shame, as when it works I am really very happy with it!
