Homedics SC-571 Bathroom Scale

Advantages: keeps your feet warm, comfortable foot rest
Disadvantages: massage function just vibrates and feels nasty

...I thought I’d review this Homedics Sqush Massaging Foot Pillow but was a bit surprised to see a picture of the neck cushion. Mine was a present and I was nicely pleased when I got it. I’m on my feet a lot and sometimes they ache The foot pillow is a dark blue fabric with a peachy , fleecy feel. The fabric is a high denier nylon-spandex blend fabric which feels pleasant to the touch. The pillow is approx 12 in x 15 in (I can’t locate a tape measure at the moment; I’ll update this as soon as I find it). It has 2 foot sleeves you slip your feet into. It is filled with tiny micro-sized expanded polystyrene balls, a bit like a bean bag but the balls are so small you don’t really feel them. The fabric pillow is pretty well stuffed although there is enough give so your feet settle comfortably into it. It also retains its shape well... Read review

...I got these scales and my first impression was that they are not much to look at, but at the end of the day they are bathroom scales. The first thing that I noted when using it is the speed at which the can measure your weight, it takes seconds. It can save up to 10 people's data, and then measures not just the weight, but your body fat percentage, body fat weight, and your hydration levels. They are are a good buy, perhaps a bit expensive but they are good value for money if you are looking to keep an eye of your weight, and want to keep track of your health at the same time. Advantages: Quite sleek and modern.
Disadvantages: Too accurate.

...I was surprised and amazed with these scales, as a friend gave them to me and at first I thought they were pretty ugly looking. At the time, I was not into polished chrome or stainless steel in the slightest, although I am moving house soon to an ultra modern one and these actually fit the bill perfectly. SO WHAT DIFFERS BETWEEN THESE AND OTHER SCALES. Well for a start, they tell lies !! (Actually they are deadly accurate and its my weight that lies, and I like the fact that they come with a dial that shows your weight in Pounds, but also in Kilos. Being British, I find it very difficult to think in terms of Kilos and when filling in forms, as I have had to recently, I needed to know my weight in Kilos. The dial on the top of these is very clear to see which I find beneficial as compared to ones that have the dial built... Read review
