...the damp, and small holes began appearing where the sticks were poking through. The quality and durability of the bag is useless and without that part you're pretty much stuck. If you have to buy a shredder vac, go for another one as the prices are pretty similar. Having experienced a vac, irrespective of my problems, it's better for your health and wallet simply to buy a good old fashioned rake with tines and get the kids to help. P.S. Advantages: Easy to use and Light Weight
Disadvantages: Cable gets dirty and in the way

...With the on set of autumn I thought I would buy myself a leave vac. Sweeping up wet leaves from my drive, was sending me crazy so thought I would invest in a leave Vac and bought the Flymo vac and blow. It comes in a box un assembled. It is rather easy to put together although the instructions that it comes with for assembly are awful and difficult to follow. Once assembled the vac is easy to use. It has a slide button on top to switch between blow and suck and has a button on the handle that you hold in to start it as soon as you let go the vac stops, just the same as a flymo lawnmover. There is a grey carry strap to put over your shoulder to help hold and support the vac. The vac is electric and has to be plugged in it does a have a good length cable , but I found that in this weather when it seems to be constantly raining... Read review

Advantages: Freshens and fragrances
Disadvantages: Scent doesnt last for very long

...I didn't even realise they still sold Shake n' Vac in the shops, until I noticed my boyfriend using the product at his, when vacuuming the house. I also noticed the rooms smelt more fragrant and fresher. You may remember the advert which was remembered for the iconic dancing woman shown between 1979 and 1989. The advert featured Jenny Logan dancing around a living room in high heels shaking the powder onto the carpet and hovering it up whilst singing a musical jingle. The main lyric is "do the shake n' vac, and put the freshness back". In 2000 the advert polled 18th place in the Channel 4, The 100 greatest TV adverts programme.
