Homepride Pasta Bake
Review of Homepride Pasta Sauce by Lovin_Angel

Advantages: Quick, easy and simple to do!
Disadvantages: None, unless you hate pasta, lol!

...picture of Fred, the little Homepride man in a black suit and bowler hat (why he’s called Fred I don’t know but I think he needs a change of clothes!) on the lid and label. It says you can visit Fred at: www.homepride.co.uk. You also have the 'Homepride' name and the choice of sauce named on the various labels and lid. How I did it… Firstly I got an ovenproof dish and I flung some uncooked pasta in it! Homepride takes great pride ...
...First!! Which is great so long as you remember to use the dry pasta and not the fresh stuff. Then I opened my jar of cheese & bacon pasta bake sauce and poured it over the pasta in the dish. Then comes the clever bit – I filled the jar with water from the tap gave it a shake (remembering to put the lid on!) and then poured that into the dish too. I gave it all a nice stir making sure all the pasta was covered then put it in the oven; 200c/400f ... Read review

Advantages: A late night snackers delight with T & B UPDATE
Disadvantages: Too much sauce is definately quite bad

...it and pour in the Homepride Pasta Stir & Serve & Stir Sauce to your own personal taste. Nice an easy init????? WORD OF WARNING One word of warning though only use half a bottle at a time as I think any more may make the flavour incredibly pungent. Now the important bits: This evening I partook of the ‘Creamy Ham & Mushroom’ sauce and was pleasantly delightly asI am not particularly fond of Homepride tinned sauces. It has a particulary pleasant ...

stir and serve
Review of Homepride Pasta Sauce by nicolemorgan

Advantages: quick easy meal, cheap, tastes great
Disadvantages: none

...pasta? Easy. Mix in some Homepride Pasta Stir & Serve and voilà. If there’s any sauce left in the bottle, just pop it into the fridge and it will keep for another 10 days.’ There really is little more to it than that. No need for lessons from Delia. We can all boil and drain some pasta I hope. Then just unscrew the lid (asking an adult for help if necessary) and plonk the sauce into the saucepan with the pasta. Warm up fro a few minutes, serve and ...
...so I love to interfere with his as well. Add some cooked bacon, mushrooms, a bit of cheese – basically whatever floats your boat. Bake it in the oven for a bit and when your partner comes home they’ll think you spent hours cooking a yummy scrummy dinner. A bottle costs £1.09 for 460 grams. The bottle’s glass, shaped a bit like a pint milk bottle with a more feminine figure if you get what I mean. It’s got a screw on cap with one of those fun ‘poppers ... Read review

Not so pepperoni
Review of Homepride Pasta Bake by  missydoc

Advantages: the price
Disadvantages: taste, aroma, too many E numbers

...Ok so having tried the Dolmio variety 'Taste of Italy', and now being a big fan of pepperoni in my pasta (and curries), I found the Homepride pasta bake on special offer at Tesco buy 2 for £2 so thought I would give them a go. You may recognize the Homepride range by the funny looking lego man with black clothes, black hat and a cheesy smile. They have a huge range of products including pasta stir-in sauces and a large variety of cook-in sauces and are very well known for their flour. History Homepride started milling for their bags of flour back in 1920's. In 1964 there was the creation of the 'legoman' and he had his first commercial talking about flour. The cook-in sauces were introduced to the Homepride range in 1974 and the pasta bake sauces in 1999. Again the range grew in 2001 when the pasta stir-in sauces were... Read review

ITS CHEESY AND EASY
Review of Homepride Pasta Bake by  just.bcoz

Advantages: loads of different flavours, filling and tasty
Disadvantages: none really

...I absolutely love pasta and rice based meals as they are really filling and you can have a wide range of different sauces etc to go with it. Most of the time I make a pasta sauce from scratch using fresh herbs and vegetables; although on some occasions I really cant be bothered doing that so I usually opt for a quick fix meal which doesn't take ages to prepare and make. One brand which I have started using recently is the Homepride Pasta Bake, which is really tasty and the best thing is the fact that it is really easy and quick to make. Homepride Pasta bake is really cheap to buy considering it serves up to four people and a jar of the Pasta Bake sauce will only set you back £1.39 for a 500g jar from Tesco's. The Homepride Pasta bake is available in a few different flavours as well so you have a little bit of choice... Read review

I like mine hot and with plenty of sauce
Review of Homepride Pasta Bake by  cazm17

Advantages: Quick, filling meal for all the family
Disadvantages: Product without extra additions can be bland

...I've been using the Homepride pasta bake sauces for a couple of years now. My partner bought some while they were on offer at the local shop, assuring me that I would love them, but I wasn’t so sure. Until then I had been a firm aficionado of making a pasta sauce and having it on plain pasta, lasagne aside that is. The jars of pasta bake sat in the cupboard for several months. Every time I was asked if I would like to try it, I said no. Until that is one evening my partner’s surprise meal was a pasta bake that he had prepared using the Tomato and Pepperoni variety. You basically add the contents of the jar and some water to dried pasta and cheese and cook in the oven. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was, and couldn’t wait to try it again. We have this about once a month now, as even after getting in from a long commute... Read review
