I am buying my first house shortly... and so as such my nesting instinct kicked in and I began researching and of all the magazines out there I found home ideas by far the best for the young person of today looking to furnish or re-decorate.
Lets face it we aren't all on £30 or £40 thousand a year... and most house magazines seem to be apealing to this bracket. This magazine does stand out from others on the market. For a start it is cheaper, on sale at only £2.50 and found in most news agents (I pick mine up from the corner shop) this magazine consists of many ideas to fit anybodys budget.
In any magazine there are usually articles and ideas for every room Kitchen, Living room, Bedroom, and Outdoors. It has articles on every room and the best thing is that every product or design idea has the price and usually a website attached so that you can be sure to obtain the product yourself.
Property Ideas This has a property guide (with houses that too be honest are usually above my price range). There are usually articles that inform you about houses and house prices throughout the UK so will still be of interest.
Shopping My favourite section! This usually includes a section with the best from a popular street on the high street.
It always has a welcome from the editor at the beginning of the magazine. It always has details of how to contact the magazine and also what you need to do in your house or garden in that month. It also allows readers to make their comments in the regular feature -have your say.
The big advantage with this magazine is thar it has fab finds for under £20 - where they do the bargain hunting for you. As with all the other articles they state where you can obtain the products yourself.
I found this magazine to be very good for those people looking for things for new houses. I believe that I will be of great value even when I have a house. It provides articles for example about the best patatoe peelers to buy so I would but this magazine just for the articles about the products that you would always need in your home not even if you are a first time buyer. All of us could do with some bright ideas to improve our surroundings from time to time and that is what this magazine provides.

Don't mention this mag to my missus. It would give her ideas way above the levels of necessity. Your best review so far. Well done. Richard
