Honda CRX Del Sol
Review of Honda CRX by JamillaI

Advantages: Good solid design, beautiful car, turns heads
Disadvantages: Too small

This was my second car, and it was and may always be my best car! With its Japanese design It was strong and sturdy. I only had two problems with it the whole 2 years I had it one, was the break pads got worn out (easy to replace) and the clutch lead stretched and that was replaced not so expensive either. Its a nippy car and sits so low to the ground you wonder how you ever get in it. Once you take off the roof, (bit awkward on the manual version ...
...You can get this car with an automatic roof but I heard there can be some problems with this as if the electrics go the roof will be stuck and it could be stuck mid way. Even though its a small car you dont feel squashed inside as its quite roomy and spacious. A friend of mine drove it hes 6ft 2 a foot taller than me and felt it was still roomy. You can put the chair right back as for extra leg room and it goes back further than alot of cars. There ... Read review

Honda CR-V Mk 1
Review of Honda CR-V by spongebob32

Advantages: Comfortable and Spacious
Disadvantages: No exciting gadgets in the cockpit

I have owned my CR-V for about 8 months, and have covered over 11k miles already. Its one of the older models, 1998 and is the base model. I bought it because it fits in well with my leisure activitys, camping, mountain biking and windsurfing, as well as owning a dog. This is my third Honda, and to be honest I would be retisent to buy any other brand of car in the future! The interior is comfortable, and functional, not packed with loads of gadgets ...
...being the basic model, has got no A/C but has got an enormous sunroof, which is electric, and far more fun than A/C. 4 x Electric windows with one touch drop on the drivers door. Central locking but not remote on this model, but that suits me, as I can put the key in the pouch of my wetsuit with no worries! Comfortable hardwearing fabric seats offer loads of adjustment and you can recline the rear seats too! Massive boot space, and loads of underfloor ... Read review

Why should I buy a Honda Prelude?
Review of Honda Prelude 2.2i by unixgirl

Advantages: Fast, reliable, not as heavy on fuel as other sports cars
Disadvantages: folding mirrors may cause trouble in winter

If you're looking for a head turning car for not a lot of money then this it it. My advice go for the tip-tronic not the manual as they are a much better drive. Also if you are going to go for an import (can get better deals and a car that has a better spec and much lower mileage) check out some of the supermarket sites for insurance, they don't penalise you for having a grey-import. Although please remember if you are buying a grey-import you may ...
...garage or previous owner hasn't already had it done. The only down side I've discovered so far is that the wing mirrors which fold in (very useful if parking in a tight space!) can jam in the winter if salt and grit get into the mechanism, but this can be easily solved by using a little bit of washing up liquid and gentle (and I mean gentle!) manipulation. Overall the Prelude is a great buy, cheap to run compared to most other sports cars and doesn't ... Read review

Honda Civic Type-R (2005)
Review of Honda Civic Type R by Warped010

Advantages: Speed, Handling, Engine Note, i-Vtec
Disadvantages: Old looks, Sometimes harsh ride

I have owned a Honda Civic Type R (2005 Model) for around six months now. I had many concerns about the car before buying it, however not one of these concerns still hangs over my ownership. I chose to buy a red example, but this is personal preference. I was concerned about the road noise of the car, given the stiff suspension and low profile tyres, as I do a fair amount of motorway miles. So far, I've barely noticed. I don't find the road noise ...
...this is due to the Honda i-VTEC kicking in at 6000 rpm, hence you can easliy drive in traffic to 4000 rpm and the engine is quite passive and easy to use. Choosing to buy a 2005 Civic Type-R today, you must consider that the shape has now been updated. A good friend of mine has recently purchased a 2008 shape - it has to be said that the new shape car's interior is far nicer that the 2005 shape. The racing seats are awesome (although they are more ... Read review
