This is the best car I have ever owned ,it's my dream car.
We were on the look out for a good family car.A few times before we bought our honda CR-V my other half would go and look around the forcourt of the Honda Garage which is 2 mins away in the car from our house and admire them.
I couldn't see what he saw which was a good classy family car with a good boot space etc.

We talked about what we would both like .He liked The CR-V and I wanted the Jazz.We couldn't make our minds up so the only thing left was to go for a test drive in both.
I drove the jazz first but not as first thought seats gave me back ache and it was modern but very basic inside.Drove well maybe the sort of thing to get you from a to b like popping to the local shops ,so for short journeys. It didn't rock my boat at all.
I then looked forward to what was awaiting me for my test drive in the CV -R Honda. This car just blow me away straight off.Wow was my first feeling ,I have got to have this!I and I had the biggest smile on my face all the time driving it.Took to it straight away.It is much higher than our vetra we had ,seats are comfortable, great view.It has sat nav which has been a great help when traveling to visit friends.I feel I get alot of respect off other drivers where they let me out first (never had a response like that before). When you put petrol in you have to pull a special lever on driver's right ,then when you go to put pump into your car to fill up you have to slowly turn petrol cap which has a bit sticking out out that you hang on the flap so not to get petrol on your car.Smooth to drive .I drove back from Chichester to Ruislip on Sunday and you can't feel the speed you are going.
The back seats are higher than the front so my children or any passenger sitting in the back is able to get 360 degree sight. My kids think this is so cool.
Air con is great on hot days and there is a little fridge to put drinks in or ice lollies etc. Aswell as everything else the hand brake is on the dash board. My front seats have arm rests so you can choose if you want them up or down.I like mine down when I'm driving. In the back you can pull middle rest down and people in the back can put their drinks in it or just use as an arm rest. The boot is nice and deep, there is enough room for alot of stuff i.e all my weekly shopping fits in a treat. The door it's self opens out like a car door ,this is great you can get into it when parked in car park.At the back top of the door the glass window can be opened instead of the whole door.I haven't tryed it out yet.

The car gives me driving enjoyment .I have had the car since March 05 .It is an 04 but not a year old when we got it.
£17000 was the cost with £1000 off as part exchange with our R reg vetra.I know this wouldn't mean much to all the lads out there but Honda gave me a bunch of flowers :) and 6 months free tax.We are still very pleased with our family car.
Sometimes people ask me about it and make kind remarks wishing they had one !!

Honda CR-V - review by Scatcat

Advantages: The interior is excellent, loads of space, lots of storage areas.
Disadvantages: Very disapointed with the middle lap belt, most cars now have an inertia reel there, this has a lap belt and the catch is different, so many times in the night people have got the two swopped and been unable to click the catch
