When I first saw the HRV I thought to myself " I Want One" and now that I have one I am still impressed. I have the 1.6 Automatic 5 door model and have no regrets about buying it, it drives smooth, corners great, looks great and above all its reliable, as are all Hondas so I am told. I was quite surprised at how powerful the 1.6 engine was, great for rocketing away from traffc lights and the automatic comes with sports mode which is excellent for overtaking. The only downfall with the HRV is the fact that for such a big car, theres only 2 rear seats which I found a little odd. So far I have not had to buy any parts for the car but I am told that genuine Honda parts are pretty expensive After buying mine second hand, the automatic gearbox went and even though I didnt buy the car from Honda they informed me that with certain models the warranty had been extended due to a manufacturing fault and that my car was covered by the extension so they forked out £1100 to fit a new gearbox. Had they not mentioned that, I would have had to pay for the gearbox myself. Not only do I have a great car but also great customer friendly car dealers too.
I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion? There was a lot of information in your review but it was quite hard to read all bunched up together. Reviews that are broken up into smaller paragraphs and have a blank space between them are easier for others to read and it also gives a nice overall look to the review.
