Advantages: good performance for its age, styling, reliability Disadvantages: none really apart from less grunt than larger bikes
...I purchased my CBX750FE in 1995 and to date have had no problems with it. I note the other opinion on this page where someone complains about the engine breaking down due to low oil, well sorry my friend but if you are silly enough to run an engine with low oil that is your fault not the bikes.
My own CBX is a UK model and performs v well for its age with good around town capabilties and good A road performance. The highest speed I have achieved on my CBX is 135 mph (on a private road officer). It produces power from tickover but only really pulls well from 6,000 rpm and then v well from 8,000 rpm with the rev limiter coming on at 10,500 rpm. The standard of finish is good to excellent and the styling attracts plenty of good comments. Overall I would rate it highly because of Hondas standards of finish being higher than anyone elses. I...

Advantages: Fun, simple and reliable Disadvantages: drum brakes
...The Nighthawk 250 is the most fun you can have under 55 mph. This is the bike that backs up the saying "that bigger is not always better". I've owned a GPZ 1100 and you can keep it, I'll take the Nighthawk. If you want to have a smile from ear to ear everytime you ride, get a Nighthawk. This bike is not about egos, it's about fun. Yes , it has drum brakes and neutral is hard to find. So what, i'll get by. I get guys with much bigger bikes cheaking it out all the time. Somehow they sense i"m having more fun than them at 1/3 the cost. If you wnat to show off , go ahead and spend 8 grand. If you want to ride for the sake of riding get a Nighthawk....

Advantages: Fresh, economical, it's a Honda with legendary reliability! Disadvantages: Rear window, motorway road noise, 'plasticky' body parts
....
Buying this car would set you back around £16,000 (£15,000 for the SE). Honda dealers are well known to be hard to haggle with, but if you haggle hard and prevent the person you are talking to from trying to run off to ‘ask the manager’ then you could maybe knock off £1000-£2000 from the price. Any colour besides Milano Red will cost you an extra £375 on top of the listed price. I got myself the adequately named ‘Nighthawk Black’ and it is stunning. I have seen the various silver, blue and red versions myself and I am not too keen on them personally. The seats have the options to be leather which would cost an extra £800on top as well. You’ll need to pay for other car accessories such as a roof rack etc if you want them. It is in insurance group 9 and Road Tax Band D, so it’s not too bad, as long as you’re not a ‘youngster’ as they put it...

The LG Black Label Secret is my first phone in years not to be a Nokia. I got it as part of a free upgrade - I could've had the iPhone but opted for this as I've never got on well with iTunes and so on and liked the idea of having a phone which didn't... more
