...The Honda Ace Tourer is an excellent motorcycle package for someone looking for a cruiser style bike with excellent retro looks, and a proven hydraulic valve V twin engine. It has excellent acceleration for its weight of over 600 lbs. Handling is easy at slow and high speeds up to 85 mph. Top speed no matter how you slice it is 100 mph. Good hard bags with top lid access and plentiful rubber gaskets keeps your gear dry and safe. The ACE comes with a great windshield, wide plush seat and large wide handle bars that keep you in good riding position for many enjoyable miles. A great interstate bike with sufficient power to pass and adjust your position on the highway. Advantages: A great all round cruiser
Disadvantages: The worst saddle ever built

...Originally an owner of a Honda Shadow 600, we moved to the new 700 Deauville. The ride deisgn of this bike is not suited to my height ..5ft 8 and 30 inch inside leg. We decided to go back to cruisers and bought a 2007 750 C2 Shadow Spirit. My wife and I love the looks, the driver ride comfort, the economy and everything else about the bike......BUT....that gunfighter saddle..an absolute dissaster.................. After only 10 miles my wife is moving around trying to get comfortable. As she is only 4ft 10 and weighs just 45 kilos, she is hardly overweight. We have had to purchase a Dual Tour saddle from the States as nothing else is available here in the UK. Honda....it may look sexy but there the resemblence ends..that saddle is an ergonomic dissater...It ruins one of you best bikes ever. TB Bridlington... Read review

Advantages: Excellent to ride, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Not fast enough for some people

...of tyres will affect your braking performance. For an all rounder during wet and dry weather braking I recommend Dunlop as one of the best to choose. Although I bought my Shadow with saddlebags supplied, accessories to match the bike are hard to find due to it being an American import. Normal checks should be done before embarking on even short journeys. You shouldn’t be riding a motorcycle if you don’t know them but basic checks are horn, lights, turn signals, brakes, clutch, tyres, mirrors, petrol and oil levels If you are considering taking up riding you will learn all about safety and how to check your motorcycle before riding at your CBT lessons. I am able to service the Honda easily as the engine is so easy to access, this cannot be said for my Moto Guzzi’s. Honda also produces a 250cc and a 750cc Shadow that are readily... Read review
