Well when this bike reached the shores of the UK, they were more sort after than gold. Now I keep on hearing the same old story about how much they cost to tune up for racing purposes. Oh yes you can buy an aftermarket system and power commander this does help, you gain a few extra hp but thats about it. HRC (Japan) had a list out not long ago with all the parts needed to make this bike a winner, ok if you are a rich S.O.B. but if your not,trying to find £26.000 to buy these parts would put most people off the idea. These bike dont like to run in built up areas,they tend to be a little jerky on the throttle. The rear seat flap is still a problem and can fly off as and when it feels like it. Watch out if you clean your bike with a power washer as the paint on the wheels comes off very easily, it can come off if you use some wheel cleaning products (not mentioning any names). The suspension is heavily oversprung and needs looking into. The list is endless so I'll stop there.
